The Kathryn Leigh Thurgaland foundation believes strongly in continuing to honor Kathryn’s amazing love of life by recognizing her values of human expression through art. It is human nature to appreciate excellence in art. Beyond being objects of our admiration in a museum or gallery, art can also be the centerpiece of communication. As a way to celebrate excellence in the arts the Kathryn Leigh Thurgaland Foundation is hosting the 1st art contest to be held at the Marion County Fair.

The 2023 Marion County Fair will be held Feb. 16th to Feb. 26th, 2023.

The art contest will run Feb. 18th through Feb. 25th.

Deadline to submit your artwork for the 2023 Marion County Fair Art Contest is Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 by 9:00 pm.
